Volunteering
Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod offers a range of volunteering opportunities that will allow you to get involved and learn new skills. Nearly 800 people volunteer every year, some for just Festival week and others through the year in preparing to stage the Festival.
Volunteering Opportunities available during Festival week
Finance support – supporting the finance team during eisteddfod week
Floral support – providing assistance in design and display of flowers
Grounds support – stewarding, ground support, health and safety
Hospitality support – organising the care and accommodation of competitors
Music & staging support – backstage work, stewarding preliminary competitions, administration
Marketing support – being involved in a variety of festival marketing strands
Tickets support – selling tickets, administration, box office
Income generation support – supporting fundraising, supporting sponsors and corporate hospitality strands
Year-round opportunities
During the year leading up to the Festival, we are always looking for people to help us on planning. This could include staffing the box office, working with the events office on programming of the Festival week, working with the Income Generation Manager on preparing for sponsors and visitors to the Festival.
